Whenever I start dating someone I tell them: “If you ever want to leave me know that the door is always open, I never want you to feel as if you have to be with me.”

I know that that there are others that the guy could get with if he wish to, I’ve always said my love will have to stand on its own for better or worse. Some have taken this to mean that I will never “fight” for my relationship which is NOT true. I will work on it to keep it working, I’ll just never beg a guy to stay with me.
