I got my tubes tied at 23(Now 27) with a DR. exception because of my chair. I couldn’t use birth control because of the blood clot risk and condoms don’t always work.

If by some chance I was to become with child then I would personally have my child because in my mind my child really wants to be here if its beating those odds, however I would not take away another woman’s right to an abortion because that is something she has to carry in her body(I have seen the pictures of the dead babies and I still feel this way).

To tell a woman “If you don’t want to have kids then don’t have sex.” Is to me unfair. No one that I have ever seen has told a man don’t have sex until you want kids. Also birth control though not 100% effective is an option that doesn’t hurt a baby if the woman isn’t with child.

Also yes you might want the baby to be born but what happens after, two of my very best friends have had abortions, one is already trying to raise 2 kids on her own and would not have been able to care for a third child and work. The other works as a striper to put herself through school and was homeless at time time she got with child. Both got early abortions as soon as they could. Also I am disabled and I have seen the care that disabled people get sometimes that the state hardly wants to pay for and people want to add more babies to that but cut food stamps and head start for those same kids it makes no sense.
