Does it bother you dear reader when you’re ready a book and the author repeats the same thing in two paragraphs in a row? Or am I just odd?

I ask the question because the author just did that in a book I am currently reading, I even went back over what I read to be sure it happened.

Maybe I am just annoyed by odd things.
