Just said goodbye to my ex again over the phone. He told me he got a hold of me again today to say he considers me his only true friend and that it wasn’t my fault that he cheated on me.

The goodbye felt final in a way it never really has before. I feel like I lost a piece of my past, like a door closed for good. I told him again that once the divorce is filed I will no longer talk to him because I can’t keep going back and forth. He said he understood.

I know this will sound lame to some however I am happy because he told me his second kid a son will not be named after him like we wanted to.

Also he told me that he will get a hold before me he has me served me with the divorce papers so I don’t have to stress as bad right now.
