Dear reader I got to see “Percy Jackson: The sea of monsters” in 3D with my dad tonight: ).

I’ve read the first 3 books in the series the movie is based on and I’ve seen the first movie as well. My thoughts on the movie are as follows:

I personal think that there weren’t that many cool 3D parts so I personally don’t think you would loose much if you saw it 2D.

I did like the action and the storyline flowed better in this movie then the last one. I liked Percey’s brother(Sorry I forgot his name) and this movie did make me excited for the next one, even my dad enjoyed it.

One of my favorite lines from the movie was when Dionysus’s wine gets turned into water because Zeus is mad at him and he tells the other teacher next to him:

“You know the Christians have a God who can do this trick in reverse, now there’s a God”.

I just found that funny. As a Pagan who works with and believes in the Greek Gods I wasn’t really offended that much by the movie.

I give the movie a 4 out of 5 :),
