Note to the reader: I am not a professional book reviewer, just a reader doing it for fun.

I spent most of the book trying to figure out “Kat” and why she did what she did. I kept wondering about how long she could go without blood since she is a vampire and other world based things since a lot of the standard vampire lore doesn’t apply in this book’s world which did personally throw me off a bit.

The last 20 or so pages were what got me interested in the next book in the series and not thinking the book was a waste of my time. I do plan on reading the next one.
