I don’t know, will a strike help Syria?

I am proudly an American and the following post is my personal thoughts on Syria:

Ever Since I was young I was raised to believe that America is supposed to stand for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and when someone hurts innocent people that we are supposed to help.

I know that we don’t always do that, in my heart I feel that if we don’t stand up for this then we are a joke whenever we say that we stand for helping people.

I just don’t know if the strike will help or make any difference at all. I really am torn on this.

  1. This is one of those situations in which we are damned if we do and damned if we don’t. On one hand, the civilians of Syria need a stronger force in their aid. On the other hand, we, as America, are suffering. Our soldiers don’t even support this. I can’t bring myself to force our soldiers into a fight they don’t believe in.

    1. I think if we pretty much know for sure that the strike will not stop him from using them again because we aren’t talking about killing him or using “Boots or the ground” I don’t think we should do it. Thanks for your reply.

  2. I’ve also heard that other countries have said that if America sends troops in, they will basically go to war with America. I don’t think another world war will help… 😦

Tell me what you think.
