It’s alive

So I guess that means I am

It doesn’t know that it’s been broken

It doesn’t know fear

It doesn’t know pain

It just beats

I know pain

I know fear

I know that I’ve had my heart broken

Yet tonight, right this minute I am consciously aware of my heart

Aware that it’s beating

Aware that I am alive

Hurt, loss, fear, pain, joy I have gone through it all

I am still here

Alive

I made it to this moment

I am ok
