I hope you’ll be ok when after I finally let go of your hand

You think I’ve let go of your hand already since we split up already

I am still holding your hand because we are still legally married right now

So I hold your hand and answer your phone calls, reply to your emails, tell you that you’ll be ok

All while you lay in another woman’s bed

She’s even had your children now

Even had a marriage ceremony with you

While we are still legally married and she knows it

I still listen and hold your hand as you tell me about your life with her ,

How you wish you could turn back time to be with me still

I hold your hand through it all because we are still legally married and I made a marriage vow to you that I am trying my best to keep

I have told you many many times though that as soon as the divorce papers are filled in court I will take that as a sign

That you are from then and forever more done with me and I will let go of your hand

I will no longer answer your calls, your emails, and I will no longer have anything to do with you and from that moment I will never ever be your wife again

I just hope you make up your mind for  good before you file the papers and that you are ok after I have let go of your hand.
