For better or worse I am an American. I know that my country isn’t perfect however neither am I.

I was raised to believe in America and her exceptionalism and I still believe that America can and does do great things and that we her citizens are a part of why America is as great as she is.

Because of 9/11 I know that America isn’t invincible and it takes help from her citizens to keep her safe.

I want to say thank you to all who have protected her now and in the past, I know that freedom isn’t free. I will never forget.
