Dear reader my best friend Adriana wanted to come over for thanksgiving since her ex is being stupid right now.

I told her ok and to call me when she was here and that my dad would open the door for her since I am currently in my bed right now.

She said ok and we didn’t put the food in the refrigerator in case she came over.

My dad then helped me into/out of the bathroom room and I missed placed my phone. I didn’t hear her call or knock.

My dad thought he heard her and went to answer the door but no one was there.

My dad then comes into my room and tells me something and I asked him to help me find my phone which ended up near my legs.

I noticed her 2 missed calls and called her back and she tells me she thought I changed my mind about her coming over because I didn’t answer my phone and my dad didn’t answer the door.

I told her I couldn’t reach my phone and she said she understood. It just really because I really feel bad that I couldn’t reach my phone :(.

To me personally that is one of the most annoying parts of being disabled not being able to reach things and not being able to take myself to the bathroom.
