Note: The following is me trying to give myself a “talking to”/Trying to sort out my personal thoughts I speak for no one other than myself.

Dear reader lately I have realized that I give more of the “benefit of the doubt” to ideas/beliefs on the other side of the argument(People/Thoughts/beliefs/ Ideas that I for whatever reason disagree with) than I do to people/or ideas/beliefs that would be considered by most people to be on my side of the argument.

I think part of this comes from the fact that I have personally heard over and over again that I somehow “picked or chose” to be in my chair or disabled for whatever ever reason before I came into this life time.

This idea is to me personally insane. I highly doubt that I or any other person would chose to be disabled.

I also personally disagree with the idea that nothing is random in life or the universe.

I personally believe that fate and chaos/chance can and do coexist. I fully accept that these beliefs could be wrong.

Some of the New age idea just sound crazy to me.

I know this sounds nuts considering the fact that I am Pagan and believe in The Gods and magic however I believe in the Gods personally due to the fact that I have had personal experiences with Them(The ones I work with/ follow, I am not saying I have had personal experiences with every God out there) and as for magic I personally see it as working with thoughts, energy, will, and intent. I have seen it work in my own life and that I can’t personally ignore.

Some of the other ideas haven’t really been explained to me in a way that I can understand. It’s been either you believe or “you’re just not functioning at a high enough vibration yet to understand it”.

This to me personally sounds like “Don’t ask the questions just read your bible” which drove me nuts.

Or when I would try to ask genuine questions the person would take it as me questioning the validity of their beliefs after awhile I just stopped asking questions.

I am going to try to make a more concerted effort to hear more of these ideas now that I found a way to listen to New Age podcasts on my Nook using the tunin app.
