Dear reader I just finished reading “In Ashes Lie” book 2 in the “Oynx Court” series by Marie Brennan.

Firstly I want to make clear that I really wanted to like this book because I really enjoyed reading the first book in the series, however I just couldn’t.

The book just really drags on and didn’t really get interesting until around page 173, then it gets boring again and gets a little interesting right before the ending which didn’t really feel that satisfying in my personal opinion.

I personally rate this book a 3/10. Happy reading dear reader: ).
