Dear reader I just finished reading “Tainted night, tainted blood” book 2 in the “Kat Redding” series by E.S. Moore. My personal thoughts on the book are as follows:

I feel like the creepy city was too much of a distraction from the main storylines(I know the city seems like it’s going to be a big part of book 3).

I feel bad for Kate in regards to the ending of the book, I don’t want to give it away in case you haven’t finished it yet.

I am curious about how the next book will go however for me personally it’s hard to see a character go through so much dark stuff with no real bright spots to help break it up a bit, to me it just makes it feel too heavy and it makes it hard for me to read it.

I don’t like anything that gets me too depressed.

I personally rate this book a 5/10.
