Dear reader I just finished reading “The Forever Song” book 3 in “Blood of Eden” series by Julie Kagawa. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I personally really liked the first book in this series that best, this one felt a bit too whiney for me.

What saved the book for me was “Jakal” he reminds me of a cross between “Klaus” from “The originals” and “Spike” from “Buffy the vampire slayer”. To me his sarcasm and snark really helped cut all the sadness/hopelessness.

I don’t want to give too much away however I feel like the sacrifice that “Kanin” made really fit with his character.

I know that this is the end of the series because this is a trilogy however I think they could fit one more book in from “Jakal’s” point of view if they wanted to. :).

I personally rate this book a 7/10. Happy reading dear reader: ).
