*Note to reader: The following post is just a rant for me to get this out of my system(which is the main purpose of this blog) I am not trying to judge anyone and I am sorry if it offences anyone.

Dear reader a friend posted a link on her FB page about a Go fund me she is doing because her and her husband are having trouble with rent money.

I donated $10.00 and sent her a private message on Facebook to let her know and to say I hope things get better soon.

She said thank you and here is what got me mad(I am not entirely sure why I am mad):

“I see your Facebook posts on here sometimes, it seems like you get showered with gifts.”

I think that she is talking about the stuffed animals and stuff my dad gives me. I know I am blessed and lucky however that comment still bugs me.

I wouldn’t say something like that after someone helped me. To me I guess it feels like someone is saying:

“It must be nice” which to me always sounds wrong. Or I could afford to give more.

I am sure that isn’t how she meant it but it still hurts.
