Dear reader I personally feel that I can honestly say that I would not be the same person I am today, with my love of reading and knowledge had it not been for this show.

I would go around my block when I was a kid in my chair trying to find people to let me interview them with my little kid tape recorder just like the kids at the end of the show. 

An older couple who lived at the corner house on my block would indulge me at times, I felt so cool.

I also got a love of reading from my dad which I am forever thankful for, however this show gave me the confidence to see beyond my chair to my dreams.
