Dear reader I just finished reading “The Oversight” book 1 in the “Oversight” trilogy by Charlie Fletcher. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I was confused at the beginning of the story because you’re not really given much of the backstory before the story starts, it felt at times like I was reading a book 2 in a series and not a book 1 if that makes any sense to you.

For me the book didn’t really get interesting until around the middle. One of my favorite parts was when “Mr. Sharp” finds John Dee(the advisor to Queen Elizabeth) in the mirrors.

I am excited to see what trouble “Charlie” and “Lucy” get into in the next book.

I personally rate this book a 7/10.
