Note to reader: The following is me venting about my personal life. I know it’s not as bad as some people and I am NOT trying to make people feel sorry for me.

The way I live my life and how my disability affects my life is different than other people who are also disabled. I speak for myself only, I am not and never will speak for anyone else with a disability.

Also I am not literally stuck to a chair as I know some people assume I am(actual people have asked if I can get out of my chair which I can do with physical help, I can’t walk at all bad knees and feet)

Dear reader I am kind of freaking out right now because my chair is being icky right now for some reason, it’s not reclining like it’s supposed to(it helps me to recline my chair back to help release some of the pressure from sitting since I can’t stand up), it wouldn’t do it for awhile but I turned it off for a bit and it seems to be ok now.

I am still nevous because I don’t have insurance right now because of my divorce issues(I have to show his income because we are still married but he is in TX and I am in CA, check my “endings” tab of my blog for more info on it if you’re interested) and his baby momma is a crazy bitch, plus all the paperwork and stuff(I am really hoping to find someone to physically help me get all the stuff done) which means my dad would have to help me pay to fix it which thankfully he said he would: ).

It’s just that if I did have to have it taken in to be fixed I would be screwed unless my dad got me a loner chair to borrow since my regular chair(that you have to push) has been broken for awhile(long story).

It’s moments like this when I realize all over again how much I am bound to my chair, It really is my legs. I will NEVER let myself be defined on a personal or soul level by my chair however I do acknowledge that my chair and CP(Cerebral Palsy) does effect my life and sometimes it just really sucks:(.
