Dear reader I just finished reading “The girl with a clock for a heart” by Peter Swanson. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I have never said “This guy is an idiot” more times while reading a book than I have while reading this book.

I know this is a fictional story dear reader however I find it really doubtful that a guy could be that gullible or stupid.

I don’t want to say more because it will give stuff away and this book is all about the twists and what you don’t know.

For me I feel that page 114(on my Nook) was when I was like finally this guy get’s a brain, and it got interesting, I kept wishing for a pay off that never comes except for a possible book 2.

I feel like this book just wasted my time. I have heard that it’s being made into a movie which will hopefully make it more believable, I think this is a rare case where I would say skip the book and watch the movie dear reader: ).

I personally rate this book a 2/10, Just because all the plot points were tied up nicely.
