Dear Mr Williams:

I am so sorry that you’re gone. You gave me so very many laughs and you made me believe in joy when I saw movies like “Patch Adams” even though I cried like a baby whenever I watched it.

After 9-11 you told me through jokes that we would still be ok as a country and it was ok to laugh again(Love your “72 Virginians joke”).

I feel like a part of my innocents has died with you.

Please bring joy and laugher to the other side Mr Williams.  I know you’re up there making the Gods laugh.

I will not cry for you no matter how much I want to, instead I will laugh with you. I think you would like that much better.
