Note to reader: The backstory to this post can be found in the life, and venting tab(s) of my blog. My dad is a drafted Nam Army Vet. I am disabled because I have CP(Cerebral Palsy).

Dear reader the VA hospital is giving my dad the run around again, he went to his appointment to get his blood pressure checked again for his hernia surgery that’s hopefully happening soon and his Dr wasn’t there again.

Now mind you dear reader they told him his blood pressure test didn’t count last time he went because his Dr didn’t take it and a nurse did.

Which is exactly what happened again today… So now my dad has to call again tomorrow, however the nurse told him that the surgery is still a go for September 5th.

So basically my dad went all the way down there for nothing. You think they could have called him and told him his Dr wouldn’t be there.

I think it’s going to be pretty much see what happens on the 5th. I just can’t believe that my dad has to go through this.

He was drafted at 19 years old, do not pass go, do not collect $200, straight into the US Army, if anyone deserves help it’s people like him.
