Note to reader: The following post is about MY own personal thoughts about my own personal journey with Cerebral Palsy, I speak for no one else other than myself.

Dear reader today is World Cerebral Palsy awareness day (October 1st). I am writing this post because I have CP and I know that many people have no idea what CP is.

I am not a DR. so I am not going to tell you what it is, I am however going to tell you dear reader that it affects me and my life everyday, 24/7 I don’t get to take a break from it.

I can’t get up and go to the bathroom (Get physically on/off the toilet) whenever I need to. I can’t work a “normal” job for the same reason. I made the decision to get my tube tied(with a DR’S permission because of my age) because I can’t physically take care of a child.

Cerebral Palsy may effect me however it will never ever define me, I still feel love and truly and deeply believe I am worthy of it wheelchair and all.

I am still and always will be a fighter for my dreams and hopes, I may be forced by CP to go about them a bit differently than I would like or want to however that doesn’t mean I won’t work my ass off to make them come true.

I am still a friend, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a God – mother, a woman,  a person, a thinker, a human Cerebral Palsy can never take any of those things away from me.

I will also be a wife again someday, and Yes, dear reader it is possible for a “normal” man to love me even with my chair and having to help me it doesn’t matter to the right person.

And Yes, I am getting divorced soon, however last time I checked “normal” women get cheated on as well. I am going to be extremely frank here so I apologize in advance,  however I am pretty sure that me being in a chair has nothing to do with what makes a man put his dick somewhere and Yes, I can have and I enjoy having sex and I haven’t as of yet had a man complain about it yet.

I just want you to know dear reader that Cerebral Palsy is real and it deserves a cure and who knows maybe you are the Dr or person who finds it and for that you have my thanks in advance:).
