Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I stayed up and finished reading “Daring” book 2 in the “Pax Arcana” series by Elliott James. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I have to admit that the plot confused me a bit and it took a few turns I didn’t see coming, however I still really liked it.

I feel like the majority of this book was so that “Jon” could finally come to terms with his werewolf side.

I found the werewolf drama a bit much, however the need for it(as a way to move the story arch of the series along) becomes apparent toards the end of the book.

I am going to say a spoiler now so stop reading now if you’re not done with this or the first book in the series yet…

I am excited to see what happens to the baby that’s half Knight half werewolf and “John’s” reactions to being a “God-father/uncle” .

Also I am happy that “John” and “Sig” will finally get to go on a date.

I personally rate this book a 7/10. Happy reading dear reader:).
