Dear reader I just finished reading “City of Stairs” by Robert Jackson Bennett. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I want to start off the review by saying that I personally found the book hard to get into, it felt more like a second book in some senses than a first, however I am very happy that I kept reading.

There is a lot of depth to the book that in all honesty went over my head which was why it was hard to finish until about the last 200 pages or so.

I really enjoyed the characters and I hope that there is a book 2. I personally rate this book an 8/10.
