Dear reader I can’t sleep so I stayed up and finished reading “The Seamstress of Hollywood Blvd” by Erin McGraw. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I really liked the first half of the book even though the storyline of a mother leaving her kids was close to home for me(My mother left me when I was young, although because she has mental issues).

I found “Nell” to be relatable for the first half of the book and I could understand some of her choices even though I don’t personally agree with them.

However the last part of the book when husband number 2 finds out about her daughters and his actions afterwards felt so off to me. If you haven’t read the book and want to read it or aren’t finished yet then stop reading now because the next part will be a big spoiler….

Her first daughter magically being pregnant the whole time by some unknown guy just felt so far fetched, then “Nell” pretty much taking back her husband after he fell for her daughter I mean give me a break.

I personally rate this book a 2/10. Happy reading dear reader: ).
