Note to reader: The following post is just to remind me not to give up when things get hard.

Dear reader I hadn’t really talked to Alex for about 4 days or so because he has been super busy with work(we haven’t seen each other for a few weeks because of his car issues).

I was starting to feel lonely, well We finally got to talk on the phone, He actually fell asleep on the phone with me because he didn’t want to hang up the phone: ).

Talking to him just reminded me how very lucky I am to have him, before he fell asleep we were talking about us going to Iowa at some point(Where he is from) to show me around.

I would never want to permanently leave California while my dad’s alive(He is stubborn and will never leave California), however taking a week or two vacation would be awesome:).

I am a very lucky girl:).

PS. Yes, dear reader Alex knows how I am with my dad and he is ok with it.
