Dear reader I just finished reading “Prince Lestat” book #11 in “this vampire chronicles” by Anne Rice. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I have to start by being honest and saying that I haven’t read all of the books in this series in order however I love “Lestat” so much as a character that I had to see what he is up to.

I think “the voice” was/is a needed character/plot explanation device for the series and it’s mythology.

I think this book finally brings “Lestat” where he needs to be as far as character growth and realization.

I don’t understand what happened when “Rose” was dying/turning, was that Anne Rice trying to talk about hell again?

Either way this book left me excited to see where this series goes next.

I personally rate this book an 8/10. Happy reading dear reader: -)
