Note to reader: The following post will have my own personal opinion/feelings about this issue I don’t claim to have all the facts about it neither am I judging anyone for if they read this book or not.

Dear reader I read “To Kill a Mocking Bird” in high school so I didn’t really enjoy it as much as I should or could have(same reason I hate “Tuck Everlasting”) however I understand it’s importance and I was looking forward to reading The new book until I heard about the issues regarding Harper Lee.

I personally feel that words and stories are very important and authors should be paid for them accordingly, I personally would feel guilty reading this if Harper Lee doesn’t see any money from its sales or if she didn’t want or intend for it to be published. I feel like I would be stealing from her.
