Dear reader I can’t sleep so I finished reading “Poison Study” book #1 in the “Study” series by Maria V Snyder. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader this is one of those cases where I love the characters so I kept reading even though something just felt “off” to me personally about the world and the storyline.

I was excited to read the next book in the series until I saw the price($11.99 in the Nook store) and read some of the reviews of it on Good Reads, right now I have other books I want to buy for pretty much that same amount so I will put the next book off until the price drops a bit just because I like the characters so much.

I know this might seem weird however I don’t really know how to rate this book since I pretty much ignored the plot after about the first 30 or so pages and focused just on the characters.

I would personally recommend reading “The Iron Butterfly” trilogy by Chandra Hahn instead.
