Dear reader I just finished reading “Deadly Spells” book #3 in the “Prospero’s War” series by Jaye Wells. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I have to say that in my personal opinion this book is awesome for so many different reasons, I don’t want to give too much away but I have to say damn does “Kate” have some balls, when she hid the gun I was thinking that would be the end of the book and the rest of the pages would be a preview of the next book or something.

Then it when to the scene with “Danny’s” school then it was “Kate” finally letting herself have some joy everything felt to me personally like it was giving the reader a pay off for reading the last two books plus this one while giving you things to look forward to with the next book(and Yes, dear reader I have checked on the author’s website and FB page there is going to be a next book) which not every author can pull off.

I also have to say that “Kate” reminds me of “Rachel” from Kim Harrison and “the Hollows” series.

I personally rate this book a 8/10. Did we really need the details on “Hot Poket”? (If you read the book you’ll get this reference) So I took off a point on my rating.
