Dear reader I just finished reading “Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter” by Seth Grahame-Smith. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I want to start by saying that I haven’t seen the movie as yet, I wanted to finish reading the book first before I decided if I wanted to see the movie or not.

I really really enjoyed this book a lot, it reminded me personally of Ann Rice with “Lestat” wanting to write his book, I couldn’t help wondering what “Lestat” would have made of it(Yes, I know it’s a all fictional dear reader).

I love whenever fiction feels real. I can honestly say that this book is one of my personal favorites on the list of all the books I have read recently(check the books tab of my blog if you’re curious about all my other book reviews).

I will start to read “The last American Vampire” as soon as I’ve posted this review. 

I am not sure I want to risk the movie tainting my love of the book, plus I love vampire movies(think “Blade” not “Twilight”) however I don’t like a lot of gore especially when I am going to be going to sleep soon so I am definitely not going to see the movie tonight.

Over all I personally rate this book a 9/10. Happy reading dear reader: ).
