Dear reader I just finished reading “Armageddon Rules” book #2 in the “Grimm Agency” series by J. C. Nelson. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I felt like this book was a way for the author to set up the next issues/hurdles that the characters will have to over come over the next few books in the series(I don’t feel like it will be all wrapped up after the next book as I am pretty sure the series isn’t a trilogy) which I understand however for me personally there didn’t seem like there was enough time in between each thing for me to be able to process them so they all kind of clumped together.

I am still excited about the next book in the series however I personally didn’t feel like there was really anything that felt like a pay off for reading this book. I kind of only saw the new storyline threads for the next book(s).

Even “Liam” asking “Marissa” to marry him felt a bit disappointing to me, I guess I really wanted an “Aww, how sweet” moment(maybe I am just a bit too girly dear reader).

I personally rate this book a 4/10. Happy reading dear reader :-).
