“All-Star Academy” review season 1 episode #3.

Note to reader: I am just a fan of the show doing this review of the show for fun any mistakes in this review are my own.

Dear reader I am excited to see what happens next and as always I am on team Alex.

Chef Michael is the first mentor to loose a team member.

For the group test it will be two rounds one team against another team. They have to make a desert using either beef jerky or tortilla chips.

Chef Bobby’s team won the advantage last episode so he gets to pick which team to go up against and which ingredient he wants to use in his team’s dish.

He picks tortilla chips and Curtis’s team to go up against.

Team Michael will go up against Team Alex in a beef jerky desert battle…Yummy??

Team Bobby and Team Curtis are up first.

Chef Curtis uses his SOS button early to make sure his chefs dishes are right before they go into the oven.

Mimi from Team Curtis burned her caramel and chef Curtis is freaking out because he can’t go down to help her fix it because he’s already used his SOS button, Yikes:(.

Chef Bobby uses his SOS button to help his team. It seems like everyone had a least one minor issue with their dishes.

The judge for this episode is chef Elizabeth Faulkner. The losing team for this round will have to cook again in the elimination test.

Joseph for team Bobby made a strawberry and tortilla shortcake biscuit. Chef Elisabeth really liked the biscuit.

Angela from team Bobby made a tortilla chip crusted French toast with caramel and bruleed banana. I personally think chef Elizabeth found her dish to be a bit too sweet.

Sharon from team Curtis made a deconstructed tortilla chip tart with pineapple and coconut caramel.

Chef Mimi from Team Curtis made an Apple tart infused with tortilla chips.

Team Bobby’s score for this round: Joseph gets an 8/10. Angela gets an 6/10. Team average is a 7.

Team Curtis’s score for this round: Mimi gets a 7/10. Sharon gets a 8/10. Team average is a 7.5, Team Curtis is safe.

Round 2: team Michael VS team Alex beef jerky desert.

August from team Alex is doing beef jerky icecream.

Vanessa from team Michael was singing about/to her food.

Chef Alex tells August to throw away his chocolate because it’s brown and he tells her no, He is going to use it anyway. I really wouldn’t be surprised dear reader If she kicks him off her team herself.

August makes liquid nitrogen ice cream. No mentors use their SOS buttons this round.

Vanessa from team Michael named her dish “Date with a jerk” Chef Michael upon hearing its name: “Are you referring to me?” One of the funniest moments I have seen on a food network show dear reader: ).Elisabeth likes her dish.

Elisabeth tells Sharon from team Alex that she can’t taste the beef jerky in her dish…UH Oh:(.

Elisabeth really likes August’s ice cream.

Team Michael with Vanessa gets an 8/10.

Team Alex: August gets a 10/10. Sharon gets 4/10.

Team Michael is safe.

Sharon crying after she got her score(in the after interview) broke my heart I wanted to hug her so badly dear reader:

Team Bobby VS Team Alex, Elimination Round: A savory dish using marshmallows.

Joseph from team Bobby has to start his dish over with 20 minutes to go because he might have gotten glass from a broken bowl he was using into his food.

Alex uses her SOS button to help Augest put his dish together.
Bobby doesn’t use his SOS button this round.

Sharon is safe this week and so is Joseph

August gets a 10/10 on the first dish of the day and now he gets eliminated on the same day that’s beyond crazy dear reader.

Tell me what you think.
