Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Shadow Burns” book #4 in the “Preternatural Affairs” series by S.M. Reine. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader have you ever read a book in a series and thought what’s the point of this/what’s the point of it in the overall story arc of the series itself?

Well that’s how I felt about this book up until the last few pages of the book, It was like:

“Oh now this whole thing makes sense….Holy crap must read next book in the series to see how it turns out”.

Trust me dear reader read the last 15 or so pages very carefully if you decide to read this book because they have some very important series plotline info in them.

I still am not really sure how I feel about the characters yet which is really weird for me personally given the fact that I am currently 4 books into the series, however I am still curious enough to read the next book in the series to see what happens next.

Overall I personally rate this book a 4 and half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader: ).
