Dear reader I was talking with a friend of mine last night and I thought he asked me something during the conversation and I was in shock for a second like:

Did he really just ask me that?/say that? I didn’t want to seem crazy by asking for clarification, in case he thought I was asking him about it because it was really my idea or intent.

So I let the comment pass and the conversation went a whole different way, however I can’t stop wonder if he really did say/ask me or not.
