Dear reader on Wednesday night I went to the casino with my dad after we saw my niece Alexis graduate from high school.

When I was on the back jack table I met a guy named dan(I talked about him a little bit in the “leaving the casino 6/4/15” post in the life tab of my blog if you want to check that out) after we had left the black jack table I told him about me and my dad.

During the course of the conversation he was really surprised that my dad was as kind to me as he is(physical helping me etc) I told him that I know how lucky I am to have as nice of a dad as I do.

Here is where I am confused dear reader after I left the casino the next day he I texted him and said that we were leaving the casino(He had texted me that night and a few times that day) and he still was saying how cool my dad is.

I texted him that I made it home safely last night and I haven’t heard from him since.

I haven’t seen any one before be quite so surprised about my dad being so nice to me before.

I even told my dad about it and he said: “of course I am nice to you and I take care of you, you’re my daughter what am I supposed to do with with you?..Throw you away?” Which is my dad’s standard response to anyone who says what a wonderful dad he is to me.

I don’t really understand why Dan disappeared dear reader. I am not really sad about it because it wasn’t a romantic possibly(I didn’t feel any romantic chemistry between us at all, and he said at one point in the conversation that night that he was a hermit type of person who wasn’t interested in dating or sex).

I guess I just have to put this in the “people are strange” file.
