Dear reader I can’t sleep so I finished reading “My friend Lenard” by James Frey. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I want to start this review by saying that I know the drama around parts or most of “A million little pieces”(the prequel to this book) being fake.

I read “A million little pieces” around 2005 and all these years later I still found myself wondering about what happened next, I still cared about and was interested in the storyline and the characters within even though it was fake so I decided to randomly look up the book again on the Nook store on my tablet and I saw this book which is the follow up to “A million little pieces” so I decided to pick it up. If you don’t want spoilers stop reading this review right now.

My heart breaks for Lilly and James. I wish that I had a friend as awesome as Lenard and I still wish the Cassius(James’s dog) didn’t have to be put down.

I personally rate this book a 7/10. Happy reading dear reader :).
