Note to reader I am just a fan doing this for fun also this review is just my own personal thoughts about it.

PS. I am currently watching the movie on my ps4 so I can pause the movie when needed to write. Also if you don’t want spoilers then stop reading this review right now.

Dear reader “Chappie” reminds me a lot of the tv show “Being Human” it used to be on Fox. I also have got to say that no matter what my heart will always belong to “Johnny” from “Johnny 5″(old ’80s movie”) “No disassemble” gets me every time :'(.

Sorry dear reader but I have to say this(and yes I know it’s a fictional movie and not real) :

2016 really? Are we going to get robot cops next year?(again I know that it’s fictional I still had to say it though) shouldn’t it have been something like 2116? And yes I realize that the movie it’s self isn’t set in 2016.

Do the guns the “bad guys” are using in the first gun fight(one guy has a bright yellow one and I think I saw the girl has a pink one) remind anyone else of super soakers? Or is it just me dear reader?

Omg dear reader it’s “Johnny 5″‘s little brother lol so cute(Deon’s little robot).

“Like an indestructible robot gangster number one son.” -bad guy number one (I suck at names) lol.

Is the “moral” of this movie a nature verses nurture argument?

Dear reader the robot reminds me of a giant Tamagotchi toy at this point.

Insert random rubber chicken here..seriously though why was he randomly carrying a rubber chicken toy in his glove box?

The guy threatens Deon with a gun (yes dear reader I know that it wasn’t loaded) in the office with other people inside and two seconds later invites him to church? WTF? Also I can’t believe that no one called security or anything like that.

Lol a gangster robot 😄.

I am I the only one who is wondering why they have robot cops but still no flying cars?

Watching “Chappie” getting beat up by the group of teens was so sad OMG, setting him on fire with a Molotov , :'(. I wanted to save him.

Omg the guy chopping off “Chappie’s” arm and “Chappie” saying: Chappie is real. Broke my heart a bit it was “No disassemble” all over again :'(.

The scenes with the people fixing up “Chappie” and giving him a new arm made me sad for him because he was so sad and scared but I am glad that could fix him a little bit. The scene with the lady reading to him in the bed was very sweet.

I wonder if “Chappie’s” consciousness program gives him what pretty much would be the closest thing a non living thing could have to a soul. I personally believe that souls are made of energy(yes dear reader I know that I could be wrong about that).

Of course they had to give “Chappie” the gold chains lol.

“Chappie” driving that car was pretty cool.

Damn telling “Chappie” that he is going to die (his battery is low) just to get him to do the heist is pretty fucked up.

“Chappie” : “Your my maker Deon, why did you make me just so I could die? I don’t want to die?” I think this is a very deep question.

Taking all of the robots offline just so you can use your technology is really messed up.

“Chappie” fighting to save himself is super cool, (figuring out what his consciousness was/how to download it) .

They look like they are about to go play paint ball not go do a heist lol.

The guy who is “Chappie”‘s “daddy” actually kinda helps him.

OMG dear reader the mech totally ripped off that guy’s head.

Robo “Chappie” to the rescue :).

OMG dear reader that guy who is “Chappie’s” “daddy” just beat up the other guy with a freaking shovel.

“Ninja”(I finally figured out his name) standing up to the mech is one hell of a redemption for him. So sad that “Yolandi” (“Chappie’s” “mommy”) had to die trying to save him though :'(.

“Chappie” crying over his “mommy’s” body :'(.

“Chappie” saying: “Now I forgive you bad man.” After he kicked that guy’s ass was so cool, it’s probably my favorite part of the movie.

Seeing a human beings consciousness be transferred to a robot body is so cool(again I know it’s not real), I really hope that “Chappie” made it to his new body ok.

Yay “Chappie” made it.

“Now we are both Black sheeps mommy” – Chappie as he is building his “mommy” a new robot body.

Overall all I personally rate this movie a 7/10 because I like “Chappie” a lot and because it made me think.
