Dear reader I just finished reading ” This case is gonna kill me” book #1 in the “Linnet Ellery” series by Phillipa Bornikova. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I liked this book a lot more than I thought I would when I first started reading it.

I think “Linnet” has some of the best luck I have ever seen from a fictional character in a book, the best way I can think of to discribe it to you dear reader is to say it’s like a “Looney Tunes” character who gets saved by a prat fall or something like that, or to put it another why to think of it is “dumb luck”.

I honestly don’t understand why this book’s mythology is that women can’t be turned into vampires, it doesn’t make sense to me.

I want to say more but I don’t want to spoil anything in case you haven’t read it yet.  I bought book #2 in the series before I realized I needed book 1(I didn’t make it past the first page before I stopped reading and downloaded book 1) so I will start reading it after I’ve posted this review.

Overall I personally rate this book a 6/10. Happy reading dear reader :).
