Dear reader I can’t sleep so I finished reading “The Oregon Trail: A new American journey” by Rinker Buck. My personal review of book is as follows:
First things first dear reader I am going to be honest with you even though I know that it sounds crazy:
I personally really believe that I might have been part of the Oregon Trail in a past life because every since I was a kid I have been obsessed with the Oregon Trail, as a kid I had to read everything I could find about the Oregon Trail in my local library and book stores.
This book made the journey come to life for me even more, though I personally wish I could have known more about Rinker’s trip than there was even though I know why the history of the trail was added and why it was/is necessary.
I know that this is just my own personal opinion and I could be wrong however I personally believe that this book shows that when you really want to do something the universe, fate, The Gods, or whatever you prefer to call it conspires with you to help you achieve your goals.
I personally think that this book is a great read not just for historical purposes but also if you need a “You can do it” pick me up.
I personally rate this book a 7/10. Happy reading dear reader :).
Having played the video game, I didn’t know what to think of a book sharing the title. Sounds great, though!
It’s a good read. Thanks for the comment 😊
