Dear reader I can’t sleep so I finished reading “Dark Ascension” book #4 in the “Generation V” series by M.L Brennan. My personal review of the book is as follows PS the review with contain a spoiler or two so please continue reading at your own risk:

Dear reader I personally felt for “Fort” in regards to his mother’s death. This book really reminded me of “The Originals” tv series on the CW especially with the siblings fighting about how to control the family territory.

I personally felt the book was a bit lagging in a few places and the plot point that lead up to the ending was a bit too convenient for me personally however it does bring the storyline/arc of the series to the next level.

I have to say that I am team “Fort” all the way and I can’t wait for the next book in the series to be released to find out what happens next.

Overall dear reader I personally rate this book a 6/10. Happy reading dear reader :).
