Dear reader I can’t sleep so I finished reading “After the war is over” by Jennifer Robson(Just a heads up this book follows “Somewhere in France” however it can be read by itself in my personal opinion). My personal review of the book is as follows:

First things first dear reader I thought at first(since I read this right after I finished “Somewhere in France”) that this book would continue “Elisabeth” and “Robbie’s” story(which it does to the extent that you get to read about their wedding and they do pop up in the storyline a few times) however it’s about “Charlotte” instead.

Which disappointed me, “Charlotte” is an interesting character however she didn’t pull me in as much as “Elizabeth” did.

Some of the back and forth time jumps in the story confused me a bit, to me personally they didn’t seem to be in the right places.

I found myself being more interested in the side characters storylines then I was in “Charlotte’s” to be honest with you dear reader, “Edward” also seemed to me personally to be very stiff at times.

Overall I personally rate this book a 5/10. Happy reading dear reader :).
