Dear reader I just finished watching “True Story” with my dad. My dad just thinks that the movie was crazy and he didn’t really understand it, to a certain point I agree with him dear reader; the movie is crazy and I don’t fully understand it myself however as someone who writes(no I don’t have an professional training) and is a curious person sometimes to my own personal detriment I understand the need to understand why even if sometimes there’s not a clear answer.
The murder in the movie(I personally refuse to give him anymore attention than necessary) reminds me of my ex husband in some ways, mostly how he can also seem so normal and nice yet still completely fuck with your mind under the guise of “Caring about you”.
Thankfully I am almost done with his BS (waiting for paperwork), I really hope that the writer in the movie can get past his curiosity about this story and move on with his life.
Overall it’s an interesting movie I don’t think I would have spent money on it if I would have known how it would be the trailer for the movie was more interesting to me than the actual movie it’s self.
In my personal opinion dear reader the moral of this story is be careful where and how far you let your curiosity lead you, sometimes there’s no reason why.
