Dear reader I just finished reading “Alive” by Natasha Preston. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I picked up this book because it reminded me of the CW tv series “Cult”(https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cult_(TV_series) in case you’re wondering what I am talking about) it only took me about a day and a half to finish it because the story just kept me turning pages.

A lot of stuff about the guy who’s the main love interest in this book creeped me out personally, he was very dominant and so far into the “I love you so much I can’t live without you” (I am paraphrasing) category it almost made me stop reading, however I wanted to see more about how the cult in this series worked so I kept reading thinking that it was going to be explained at some point to my disappointment it never really was.

At one point towards the end of the book the main character has a chance to read more about the cult and how it works, she even says that knowledge about the cult and how it works could possibly save her life however she stops reading the book about it after the first page(nothing is told to you about what the first page says) and she doesn’t have a chance to find out more after that.

The love story between the two main characters was too perfect to be realistic. 

The only other plot point that I found interesting(it’s a big spoiler in my personal opinion ) was hinted at in a “please read book #2 in the  series kind of way (I haven’t seen  anything about a book two being available for preorder or anything).

Overall I personally rate this book a 1/10. Happy reading dear reader ☺.
