Dear reader I can’t sleep because of the pain from my CP(Cerebral Palsy) plus my tooth is still aching a bit from my root canal so I finished reading a 92 page preview of “Mystic” by Jason Denzel. I downloaded the preview for free from NetGally for an honest review. My personal review of the part of the book that I have read is as follows(Just so you know dear reader I read from chapter 1 to the end of chapter 8)

Dear reader honestly what I read so far reminds me of the Disney movie “Brave” if the main character was 16.

I loved the world building of the book how the magic worked in the book (Or at least what I read of it so far), and it’s imagery. I don’t know if the book is listed as YA or not however I think that I might be too old to fully enjoy it.

Yes, dear reader I do enjoy some YA however lately I haven’t been liking as much as I normally do.

I personally don’t feel comfortable with giving the book a rating since I didn’t read the full book however I think if you like sci-fi/Fantasy especially Irish/Celtic lore then I think you should probably pick up this book.
