Dear reader I just finished reading “Paper Towns” by John Green. My personal review of the book is as follows:
First things first dear I originally picked up this book because I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie, now that I’ve read the book I don’t want to see the movie anymore.
I don’t know how to say how I feel about the book without giving the whole thing away, which I don’t want to do in case you haven’t already read it/seen the movie yet.
I do want to say that it does have a lot of different layers to it in my own personal opinion. The main lesson I personally took away from it were:
1. The beauty is in the journey not the designation(Not a quote from the book).
2. Having closure with someone is important.
Honestly the ending did let me down a little bit dear reader.
Overall I personally rate this book a 7/10. Happy reading dear reader :).
