Dear reader I can’t sleep so I finished reading “Soar” book #1 in the  “Empire Chronicles” by Alyssa Rose Ivy. I want to be completely honest and up front with you dear reader and let you know that I was blessed to be approved by NetGally to receive a free copy of book in ebook format in exchange for my honest review. My personal review of the book is as follows:

First I want to say that I didn’t read the series that this book is a spin off from so I was a little be lost at first however  the characters pulled me in. The only thing that I personally didn’t like about this book aside from the ending of it was the fact that almost every guy fell for “Casey” in some way because of how pretty she was.

I also feel badly for “Toby” I wish the book was a little bit longer and the ending wasn’t so abrupt. I am still interested in reading the next book in the series to see what happens next .

Overall I personally rate this book a 7/10. Happy reading dear :).
