To love a stranger book review.

Dear reader I just finished reading “To Love a Stranger” book #4 in the “Wyoming” series by Colleen Coble. I was blessed enough to be able to download a free ebook of this book from NetGally in exchange for my honest review. This opportunity and others like it are made possible in large part because of you dear readers with all of your likes, comments, views, and follows on this blog thank you  from the bottom of my heart. I also want to be completely honest with you dear reader and let you know that I didn’t know a the time that I downloaded this book that it was part of a series so I read it as a stand alone novel. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I personally found some of the storyline to be far fetched dear reader   however after I put the plot behind me and just focused on the characters I enjoyed the story a lot. You can’t help but root for “Bessie” & “Jasper”.

I don’t want to offend anyone with this next part of my review however I always want my reviews to be honest as to how I personally feel about the book. This next statement is ONLY my own  personal opinion. It’s NOT a judgment of Christians. THIS NEXT PART IS A SPOILLER FOR PART OF THE ENDING OF THE  BOOK. PLEASE DON’T READ ANY FURTHER UNLESS YOU’VE FINISHED READING THE BOOK:

I personally found the Christian themes of the book a little bit much especially in terms of “Bessie” worrying about her daughter being in “spiritual darkness” because she was going by to her Native American family until she found out that he was Christian and going  to preach to his people and yes dear reader I know that it’s “period  correct” However I still felt it a bit much personally as well as one other scene that I personally feel was dealt with coldly.

This rating is mostly just because of characters 7/10. Happy reading  dear reader ☺.

Tell me what you think.
