Dear reader I just finished reading “Waylaid” a “The Hollows”/”Drafter” crossover novella from Kim Harrison. My personal review of the book is as follows:

First things first dear reader I am a big fan of Kim Harrison and the “The Hollows” series I have read them all as well as I met Kim in person at a book signing in San Diego in ’08 she is very kind. I have also read the first book in the “Drafter” series as well. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I personally think that this book should have been released before “The Drafter” came out to help get more “Hollows” fans into the world of “The Drafter” having said that it was great to see Rachel and Jenkins again however I personally don’t think that this novella added anything to Peri’s story especially for me because I’ve already read the first book in the ” The Drafter” series already so it felt a bit repetitive for me and honestly as much as I hate to say it dear reader it reminds me personally of why I don’t want to read the next “Drafter” book.

Overall I personally rate this book a 5/10 because of Rachel and Peri working together. Happy reading dear reader :).
